The water purifier questions?
The EPA estimates that a safe level of chloramines in drinking water is 4 mg / L. My city water is 2.5 mg / l. It 2.5 mg / l at a safe level? Government agencies are unreliable because they are so heavily influenced by the private sector, but is 2.5 mg / l at a safe level for drinking water? I am thinking of buying a Berkey water purifier, but does not filter the chloramines. I guess I just purifying carbon block filter chloramines, so should discard the Berkey filter if I wanted to filter out chloramines. If 2.5 mg / l not sure I can recommend a good indoor purifier carbon block? Levels fluoride from my city water is 0.1 ppm. 2 ppm is considered safe, so the level of fluoride is not a problem I think. First, 2.5 is added or chloramine level tap. If the aggregate level, all that will be gone by the time your faucet. It combines with the bacteria can not obtain in pipes. Before investing in a filter to your tap test to see if it is measurable. Even if the tap is "safe" according to the USEPA.
