How to fix a leaky water filter?
I have a H104 Everpure water filter installed under my sink that the previous owners installed. He has worked well so far. Changed the filter from a year ago or so without problems. Just changed a new filter, and the new one leaks. It seems that the impact of when I'm filling my water glass made drops forces the top somewhere. I put a pan under it for now, but I will look again this weekend. Anyone happen to them and want to share their experience? I have the 800 number but I Everpure.com curious to hear your experience with your filter, in particular the determination a filter for leaks. Thanks!
Attention should be careful when closing the filter after replacing the filter medium, or just need to replace the rubber "O" ring, the former can no longer be used there to lose lock ring assembly, while / righting, buy a new rubber O-ring rubber Packing or own size. Teflon or PTFE can also be used for this, but is the best rubber available in all major hardware stores
