What are the effects of sulfur in fish downstream from the hot springs?

I went hiking to some hot pots (Surge in the middle of a stream) and realized until recently had a fierce brook trout. Is this healthy for fish? Closer to the baths will be assigned with moss in the water, could This filter sulfur? Thanks:)

Sulfur is known to be of low toxicity and poses little or no risk to human and animal health.
