You're going through a lot of problems that is not necessary. You can buy water grociery spring shop that is what I use in all my Betta tanks. DO NOT use distilled water. Betta also do not need heaters or filters, provided they make two or three changes of water a week. It has none of these and my Betta are very happy and healthy and played very well for me.
