We bought the Cuisinart coffee maker in January 2010 … Not knowing where to start. It has great coffee, looks good, I did not spill water on the cabinet and the floor As with my previous coffee ….. I'm also using less coffee than before. It is without doubt one of the best purchases I've done in a long time …. this is the first time it has revised any concept, but felt like this was an excellent product Cuisinart … I would also add that I purchased this item after reading the reviews … now always check reviews before buying anything …. that is a help.

The coffee only ever want!
We have this coffee machine for Christmas and we love it! It keeps coffee hot until the last drop. There is zero coffee beans in the pot, so you can drink the last drop. I love the sound when the coffee is made and when the boat is going to shutdown. We run to the pot when we hear it. I love how safe the boat is part of the machine and how to ensure the lid is in the pot. The pitcher is heavy-duty suits handle safely. Not cheap, none of it. I could buy one now so I have a backup!

Great coffee
I was looking at various models along with a few Cusinarts. Viewed Consumer Reports, which gave a good rating to a previous model however, reviews of this model indicated some gaps. After much research decided buy the DCC-2600 and have not been disappointed. This model addressed the negative comments of the previous models. I would suggest the use of paper coffee filters that are purchased as an option unless your water is of great flavor. It makes a great cup of coffee, easy to use, nice and hot, so you had this unit for about a month and I highly recommend. Can not think of anything negative to say about it.

Done Right Coffee Maker
We needed a new coffee machine and after reading the comments of the 1200 (too many quality problems) I thought maybe Cuisinart read the writing on the wall and decided to go for it and build a better product in 2600. It seems they did. Everything about this machine is easy to use. It took some time to find out how fine to grind the coffee (we buy only whole grains), but with the KitchenAid grinder we have set at # 6 (very thin much more than the canned coffee) and Cuisinart all the bold "setting with seven well-rounded tablespoon scoops of regular coffee (I do not use the spoon that comes with the machine because it is too small) we are treated to 14 cups of very strong very tasty coffee. We have learned to maintain the timeframe established in the jar "low" to save energy and because it keeps the coffee just the right time to four hours after brewing. Be careful with the environment "or" high "settings, you can sear your palate.
Getting water in the machine is a bit difficult because of the small opening. But I use a "Brita pitcher 'to fill is much easier. Some have noted in their comments that Sometimes water will leak out and pool during preparation. I wonder how many know that there is a hole in the back of the machine where it is found water so that the excess filler is prevented?
All in all Cuisinart 2600 is a well designed, multi-function coffee maker that does the job. What more could you want? This is one of those 'no-brainer "purchases that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face every time I see the jar full article and wait. Cuisinart has put much time and effort into making a machine that does it right the first time and every time. As I said earlier is right to make a coffee machine. "
