What is a bottle of drinking water?
I have a free reusable plastic water bottle with my new PUR water filter and I would like use. He had an old Nalgene bottle on six months ago, but I got rid of it after a scare-biphenol and used a plastic bottle recommended by Good Morning America. The bottle that comes with the bottle filter is a polycarbonate # 7 cups, I know that was considered "dangerous" a few months ago. It I want to know is whether these plastics are safe, or if manufacturers continue to plastics market with a potential leak biphenol-A. It's a very nice bottle of water, and I would take it in a future trip with me but do not want something that could affect my health. Is it safe?
Basically, any container initially plastic in order to consume fluids is safe to include "bottled" water containers can be reused. A key point is to wash frequently. Simply fill with water does not. Germs accumulate and eventually, the lining of the lid will become really dirty, almost foam. Be sure to clean the container and cap after each use and before refilling more than a couple of times.
