How do I get rid of the rotten egg odor in my water?
I live in an apartment in the country. We have a well. There is a strong smell of rotten eggs from all taps, not just heat. I have read the answers about what to do for a home, but what I do when I do not own property and can not install a water treatment tank? Is there any faucet / shower head filter that could be used to help get rid of hydrogen sulfide and methane accumulated? Could Brita help? My boyfriend is sick. I do not care much, but I'm not used to it either. I grew up in the city water.
Filter system will help some. Not any silver use in the shower or bath as Tarish. His deal with high sulfur content in the water by the scent you're doing. Bottled water is an option for drinking.
