Problems with the refrigerator?

The cooler water spills from the bottom, a lot. It is clear, and does not smell weird, only water spills. We have clean with an old towel and dripping with so much water ends. The ice tastes too awful and has a gross smell it, and the filter is clean and light filter for water is green / good. My father can not understand what is wrong, and call the service center and can not resolve the exception of replacing the filter. We did a few weeks one and problem has increased. It is a Kenmore, not sure of model number. What's wrong with it and any suggestions on how to fix it? It's something new 3-4 years of age. I have it in Sears, but no longer under warranty.
