I bought these filters for my Kenmore refrigerator side by side. I have purchased online before, and are identical to the ones I've paid much more from Sears.
Easy to use ..

Product works as expected. Easy to remove and put a new one. The price of this pack of 2 was the best I could find anywhere.
Nice filters, water tastes great (unflavored)

These are models that filter about 200 gallons of 17 different impurities, which is large but it was not specified in the notice. I had bottled water filtering two different seasons (Culligan) from in front of two different grocery stores and water of these clearly proven off, kind of soap. Water after emptying my refrigerator filter properly was completely bad taste, that is what water is supposed to know how. Good filters. I'm sure you can use each for 1 full year, as our water is very clean, but only has a large amount of chlorine.

Great taste – but …

We have a KitchenAid refrigerator to take either this cyst reduction filter the fill fast or filter. I think the refrigerator comes with fast filling, but according to the manufacturer may use either. The filter makes water taste better than tap water. We live in Portland, Oregon and the water is supposedly Bull Run pretty good, but I had to change this filter every 4-6 weeks since September 2009. I thought maybe it was temporary sediment in the water that was blocking the filter but no visible sediment in tap water. I wanted the added filtration of this filter, but having to replace so often is annoying. When the filter is new, water normally flows from the water dispenser. After about two weeks to start out more slowly and for about a month to six weeks to start to fall to a trickle.

One thing I noticed – I usually put a glass of water beside my bed at night. If bottled water, which tastes bad in the morning, but the water coming filter still tastes good morning.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the problem of having to frequently replace the filter. Probably I'll call the manufacturer about it.
